February 2025 marked another milestone for our team as we brought our comprehensive eye camp to the villages of Appapur, Amrabad, Polepalli, Kollapur, and Kondanagula in Nallamalla forest region.Over 500 people came to be screened, each with a story of hope. We identified 108 patients in need of cataract surgery, while 305 individuals received glasses that instantly brightened their world. Some patients, delighted with the clarity restored in one eye, eagerly asked for their other eye to be operated on—proof of the trust we have built with the Chenchu community.
In September and October, more patients underwent cataract surgeries at Gajwel Eye Hospital. During their post-operative visits, it was heartening to see every patient enjoying clear vision and hear how they are able to live fuller lives. We are excited to prepare for our next Eye Camp in 2026, continuing the journey of restoring sight and spreading joy.
